Steps to Make Americano Using Espresso Machine 

Step #1 

Grind the beans finely as it gives the Latin taste. Measure two shots of espresso beans to be ground first (about 18 to 21 grams).

Place the beans in the portafilter of the espresso machine to make the expresso 

Step #3

Use an espresso machine, a kettle, or even a microwave to warm three to four ounces of water to about 165°F.

Steps to Make Americano Using Moka Pot 

Step #1

First, ground two shots of espresso beans. Keep in mind that this is between 18 and 21 grams.

Step #2

Add water to the bottom chamber of the Moka Pot. There is a full line. So remember that don’t cross the fill line; try to fill until this line. 

Step #3

Put the basket with the espresso grounds inside. Do not dampen the beans; only level their tops.

Step #4

Place the Moka pot on the stove at medium heat after filling it. Allow it to brew for about three minutes. The espresso should now percolate into the top chamber at this point.

Step #5

Start heating 3-4 ounces of water to 165°F while your espresso is processing.

Step #6

Fill your mug with this. Pour the espresso carefully over the boiling water once it is ready.
